Founded in 1991 by Dato' Idrus Mohd Satha, President of Cosmopoint Group of Companies, and led by renowned academician and economist, YM Royal Professor Ungku A. Aziz, the Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College (KLMUC) offers diploma & degree programmes that inculcates real world practice with quality academic programmes. Our diverse curriculum KLMUC has a reputation for providing innovative specialist ICT courses and has diversified its programmes to meet the market demand. The range of academic programmes are fully approved by the Ministry of Education and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (formerly LAN).     Our curriculum is carefully designed specifically to the latest industry needs. KLMUC frequently reviews and updates its industry-driven curriculum with emphasis on the latest software applications, greater focus on experiential learning and providing lessons on positive personal values to create critical-thinking graduates. Thousands of KLMUC graduates who have found successful careers in various fields are testimony of our quality.     Our new campus     The new RM200 million purpose built campus will be located in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. The strategically located campus will accommodate 8,000 students at any one time. The new campus is only about 25 minutes from the KL city centre. International students will make up 15% of the student population to ensure a global educational experience. The campus can also comfortably receive 3,000 students as residents at its hotel-styled condominiums.     Our location     With an inspiring view of the Petronas Twin Towers, the current KLMUC campus is strategically located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur allowing students to take in first-hand, real world experience of the bustling business, retail and tourism industries. Students have an easy access to the university via public transportation, as it has a bus stop directly in front of the campus. The Star line Sultan Ismail LRT station is only a block away and the Medan Tuanku Monorail station is within walking distance. The CCIT nationwide metro campuses also serve as representatives of KLMUC for easy access to information regarding the diploma and degree programmes that are offered in KLMUC.
